Question: Students, based on the questions I have received after the webinar, here are a few guidelines:   1. The PPT slides should have a Cover Slide, Outline Slide, Introduction, Body of the Assignment - your choice of number of slides, Conclusion Slide and a Reference Slide.   2. The script should be part of the notes section of the slide. There is no minimum word count. The focus should be on providing quality responses.   3. There MUST be a reference slide with a minimum of five academic references.   4. Follow the 6x6 rule for the slides. Six words per sentence and six sentences per slide.   5. You can add images but no animation. Feel free to ask further questions on this chat forum. I have not heard from some of you at all. If you wish to meet me at the College, I am available on Monday or Wednesday only by appointment.   Description: Each student needs to identify an event from the media – newspaper/internet/magazine (should not be more than a year old event) that is relevant to organisational management. You will design a presentation and script on the organizational event that answers the below. The organization can be any across the world. Analysing the case should take the following steps: - Provide a brief overview of the event. - Outline the key management issues and responses evident in the event. - Discuss these key issues using theory from the textbook to explore and explain them. - Generate alternative courses of action management in the situation. - Select the preferred alternative using research and management theory to explain your decision. The PPT slides must be well designed and the Script which explains each slide and demonstrates research should appear in the NOTES section of each slide. PPT’s submitted without a script will not be marked. Feedback: Comments and a mark will be returned to you within two weeks of submission.
